"I was born on May 5, 1971. I consider myself to be an artist and I learned the art of making altar pieces from cultural heritage; my grandfather is a great artist and he is teaching me all the secrets of this craft.

"I have been making altar pieces for 25 years, and I am only 30 years old, which means I have dedicated over half of my life to this art. My motivation is a desire to improve with each passing day. What I am trying to do is reach the people that do not know our customs and get them interested in our culture. I have participated in many local fairs and my work has always impressed people, which makes me very proud."
